INEF Assistant Director For Agriculture, Extension, and Outreach Chad Kruger was recently named the recipient of the “Faculty Administrator Award” through the Washington State University College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS).
“To be nominated by so many thoughtful and considerate friends and colleagues from across the College was truly humbling,” Kruger said, “I’m incredibly thankful for the people I get to work with on a daily basis.”
In addition to his role with INEF, Kruger is the director of the Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources, and has directed three of WSU’s four Research & Extension Center campuses over the past decade. Some of Kruger’s work includes agriculture symbiosis, biofuels, and solar integration into agriculture production systems. More information about his work can be found by visiting Kruger’s bio.
“INEF is fortunate to have Chad as part of our leadership team. This award recognizes his ability to see big picture challenges and identify ways to create teams that work towards solutions,” INEF Director Noel Schulz said.
